The Beauregard Fine Art Gallery in Rumson, New Jersey will host“Cotillion - a solo exhibition of new paintings by Lisa Ficarelli-Halpern” from October 3 – November 2, 2016. The artist’s reception is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, from 6 – 8PM.
The show includes over a dozen recent oil paintings on canvas, inspired by classical, Baroque works and featuring the juxtaposition of familiar objects of contemporary technology and fashion. Recalling the content and technical virtuosity of old masterworks, Ficarelli-Halpern’s paintings provide a visual feast as well as an expressive message of symbolic and referential significance.
